Gemma Collins shares childhood snaps and tribute to her brother

Gemma Collins took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a slew of childhood photos in honour of her brother's birthday. The TOWIE star, 41, paid tribute to Russell by reflecting on their rough childhood together, remembering how they were so 'poor' they couldn't afford a toaster.

As she looked back on her younger years, Gemma sweetly penned: 'So glad to share all these moments with you' as she wished her sibling a happy birthday.

She wrote: 'Happy birthday to my wonderful brother, may you continue to grow …. 'Remember we was so poor we didn’t have a toaster we would get the bread on a fork and do it on the gas fire, it’s a different story now. 'Was so glad to share all these moments with you love you lol now I have a dolce and gabbana toaster but I’m scared to use it he he x'.

The snaps showed the pair hanging out as children on the beach and messing around at home. The siblings are very close, with Gemma even moving in with Russell during the pandemic while waiting to buy her dream home.
