Gemma Collins says she's 'so lucky' her dad 'pulled through' coronavirus

Gemma Collins has reflected on a difficult year for her family, sharing her gratitude that her dad recovered from coronavirus.

The former TOWIE star, 40, took to her Instagram account to share a picture of her dad Alan smiling for the camera, saying she's "so lucky" he pulled through.

At the beginning of the year Alan and Gemma's mum Joan Collins caught the virus, and while her mum had more mild symptoms, she shared that her dad was "fighting for his life".

Thankfully, Alan made a full recovery, and looked in high spirits in the photo The GC shared of him on Wednesday. Alan donned a high-vis jacket and smiled for the camera while Gemma snapped the photo.
