An ongoing knee issue that Gemma has described as "next level" means that Gemma will not be able to take up her role as Mamma Morton in the famous musical.
Gemma was meant to take over from singer Shelia Ferguson but a nasty knee injury, which she first gained while appearing on the 2019 series of Dancing on Ice, has prevented her appearance.
The injury has now flared up again and forced her to quit the show.
