Speaking on Loose Women on Thursday, Gemma Collins heartbreakingly opened up about suffering a miscarriage during the lockdown period.The 39-year-old TOWIE star was on the ITV show to discuss her polycystic ovary syndrome and said that the devastating miscarriage left her "very sad”.

However, Gemma – who recently split from James Argent – added that it gave her hope that she will have children one day. Gemma said: “It was really difficult for me in isolation because, as you know, with my condition of PCOS, it’s not easy to fall pregnant and I did suffer a miscarriage which was really sad during the lockdown period.” She added: “I have suffered with it for the last 10 years.
