Gemma Atkinson has been praised by fans as she issued a clear message on social media while reflecting on her own health and fitness journey since welcoming her second child into the world.

The Hits Radio host recently celebrated son Thaigo's first birthday alongside her fiance Gorka Marquez. And those who follow Gemma, 39, on social media know that she is very much into her health and fitness and during her second pregnancy last year she was honest about her keenness to get back into her gym routine once safe to do.

She has since shared her journey to getting back to her preferred level of fitness, including documenting her time back under the watchful eye of her trainer 'Evil Steve' at UP Fitness in Manchester. She lifted her top to show her stomach and said: "A year ago. 2 weeks post-partum. I assumed having babies would make me weaker..." The following videos then showed Gemma put herself through her paces in her home gym as she said: "But over time, chipping away with small changes daily and keeping consistent, I became stronger.
