Gemma Atkinson has thanked fans for their messages as she offered an update on her beloved pet dog. Last week, the Hits Radio host told how the family had had a fraught 24 hours with their dog, Norman, as he fell ill.

Gemma has since been flooded with messages from her fans wanting to check in on the family, particularly on Norman and on Monday (June 24), she shared a video of her helping Norman up to his feet before he walked around with his tail wagging happily. "Thanks for asking about Norman," Gemma typed alongside the video. "He still can't get up very well but once he's up, he's ok.
