Geena Davis‘s memoir, “Dying Of Politeness,” dropped earlier this month, and in it, the actress has plenty of stories from her rise to fame and subsequent career. But one of the best stories is one she told The New Yorker in a recent profile, about the career advice her “Tootsie” co-star Dustin Hoffman told her to ward off the sexual advances of other actors.

Geena Davis has claimed she was able to shut down Jack Nicholson's advances thanks to advice from her former co-star Dustin Hoffman in a candid excerpt from her new memoir - Dying Of Politeness.While speaking about the book to The New Yorker recently, the 66-year-old Oscar winner claimed that Nicholson called her up sometime in the 1980s, shortly after she appeared with Hoffman in his comedy classic Tootsie (1982).She was allegedly able to get the acting legend, now 85, off her tracks by claiming a sexual relationship would ruin any 'sexual tension' if they worked together in the future.DailyMail.com has requested comment from Nicholson's representatives. Haggis, the Oscar-winning director of “Crash” and screenwriter of “Million Dollar Baby,” has been accused of raping a publicist named Haleigh Breest after a movie premiere nearly a decade ago. Breest’s lawsuit was filed in 2017 in the wake of the #MeToo movement, which led to an influx of sexual assault allegations against prominent men. Haggis has claimed the encounter, which took place in 2013, was consensual and maintains the rape charge came in retaliation for his decision to leave and then criticize the Church of Scientology. Prior to the trial, Breest’s attorneys sought to block Haggis from arguing that Scientology was orchestrating the allegations in retaliation, saying that Breest and other witnesses have no connection to the church. They also argued that pursuing that line of defense will distract the jury from the particulars of Breest’s allegations. But in September, Judge Sabrina Kraus ruled that Haggis will be able to use that argument.
