Rangers legend Paul Gascoigne surprised Prince William as he appeared from the crowd and planted a kiss on the future King during a royal visit at Bournemouth.
The Prince of Wales is on the south coast of England meeting with local businesses that have shown their support towards a programme to tackle homelessness.
And former England and Ibrox hero Gazza joined the hundreds who were in attendance. Gascoigne and Prince William exchanged pleasantries and a handshake before the 56-year-old leaned over to give him a kiss.
The meeting came at a Pret A Manger cafe with the royal also visiting Bournemouth FC’s Vitality Stadium. Gascoigne explained how he lived in nearby Sandbanks and could be heard saying he was “a lot better, getting there” after much-publicised problems with alcohol.
