‘Gavin & Stacey: The Finale’ Unveils First Look as James Corden and Ruth Jones Reunite for Final Time

The image features the show’s lead quartet, James Corden, Ruth Jones, Matthew Horne and Joanna Page. Corden returns as Smithy, Jones as Nessa, Horne as Gavin and Page as Stacey for the upcoming special.
The show, which was created by Corden and Jones, first premiered in 2007 before going on to become a cult hit. Corden and Jones write and exec produce the 90-minute special, which will be broadcast in the U.K.
on Christmas Day on BBC One and iPlayer. Christine Gernon directs. “It’s five years since we left Nessa down on one knee declaring her love for Smithy and asking him to marry her,” reads the logline for the special. “And a lot has happened since then.
