Gary Oldman has some thoughts about the upcoming Harry Potter TV series and if he would be willing to appear in it.

If you forgot, the 66-year-old actor played Sirius Black in the movies, which are based on JK Rowling‘s beloved novels.

The franchise is generating headlines again as HBO develops a TV series that will retell the story across seven seasons. There was even a recent casting call put out as the network begins to cast the roles of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

While attending the 2024 Emmy Awards, Gary was asked if he had been approached about returning to the magical world.
