Gary Neville has taken a sarcastic swipe at Man Utd's impending signing of Edinson Cavani. The former Red Devils defender was on co-commentary duties as United were thrashed 6-1 at Old Trafford by a rampant Tottenham side.
Less than 24 hours earlier it was announced 33-year-old veteran Cavani would become United's second signing of the summer window, in a shock move with deadline day approaching.
But despite praising Cavani's talents before kick-off, Neville couldn't help but remark about United's questionable transfer business in a frustrating summer.
As the minutes ticked down in the fixture with Spurs, Sky Sports' Martin Tyler brought up the rumours which previously linked Gareth Bale with a move to Man Utd.
