Manchester United hero Gary Neville has hit back at Jamie Carragher after the former Liverpool player tried to get under his skin during an exchange on Twitter.

As expected due to their connections, Neville and Carragher have clashed regularly over the years on our TV screens and this latest Premier League matchday was no exception - especially with Liverpool humbling their fiercest rivals with an astonishing 7-0 verdict at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

However, after the Sky Sports favourite was put into the firing line, he soon hit back at Carragher. In a light-hearted post, Carragher suggested Neville had withdrawn from being on the panel for Monday Night Football - as Brentford met Fulham in their London derby - but Neville promptly responded advising Carragher to "behave himself" before he appeared on the Sky Sports show.
