Gary Lineker lands acting role on Apple TV smash hit football comedy Ted Lasso

The 60-year-old Match of the Day star has made a nice side career through his commercials career – which has put him, and his ears, on show in short ads.
Now Gaz will be hitting screens in a whole new capacity with a role on Apple TV’s football themed comedy series, Ted Lasso. And it seems Gary is going method with his acting – as he will be playing a version of himself on the series which stars Hollywood actor Jason Sudeikis as the titular character of the series.
