The Princess of Wales' uncle, Gary Goldsmith, has issued an urgent apology after a magazine interview where he spoke about his niece has gone on sale after she bravely revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer.
Gary, who was the first housemate to be evicted on Celebrity Big Brother, was featured in the interview which was titled: Gary Goldsmith: Camilla, Kate, William and me.The interview went on sale just hours after Kate shared the heartbreaking news that she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
Following the princess' video message, Gary took to Twitter to explain the situation and share an apology. Gary wrote to his followers: "As many will have seen, I am featured in Saturday's "Times Magazine".This interview and shoot was done over a week ago and went to print before I was aware of the sad news regarding my niece Kate. "My thoughts and prayers are with Kate and the wider family at this difficult time and deeply upset at the timing of this article.
I hope this draws a line over the continued speculation and horrible conspiracies. Let's give Kate, William and the children time and show some love back." One of his followers responded: "I think you need to read the room," and suggested, "It's probably best to just stay quiet and dignified." During the chat, Gary talks about Kate and William's marriage, their supposed 'feud' with Meghan Markle, and the collapse of the Middleton family's business, Party Pieces.
