Flying Scotsman Gary Anderson soared through against Latvian upstart Madars Razma despite some jittery finishing in the PDC World Championship second round.
The two-time champion came into the clash as heavy favourite, but knowing defeat could see him crash out of the top 20 in the World rankings.
The Scot quickly took control of the first set reaching 160 from which he can only leave himself a ton before he pinned tops on his return to take it out and looked to be in good form early on.
However, the unfancied Razma to square the set at 2-2 before Anderson to missed double eight for the ton-plus finish. The Scot was afforded a return, finding his mark to seal the opening set.
