The singer was clearly thrilled with his performance and afterwards began shaking hands with those around him. After shaking President Biden’s hand, the crooner moved to greet former Vice President Pence and then… went to leave.
Kamala Harris had been sitting with the outgoing Vice President and made sure the country star wasn’t leaving without shaking her hand.
She quickly stood up and extended her hand and Garth quickly stopped and shook her hand. Imagine if he hadn’t! Needless to say, his near snub didn’t go unnoticed by viewers who were all taken aback by his near miss.
