Phil Foden has been told by Gareth Southgate that he MUST be playing regularly for Manchester City to have an England career.
The brilliant 20-year-old City midfielder figured in 14 of 28 Premier League games for boss Pep Guardiola before football’s lockdown.
But of those Foden made only three starts, and in eight matches has played less than 15 minutes. Foden, an Under-17 World Cup winner, has yet to win a senior cap.
