Gang weep in court as footage of violent kidnapping shown to judge
dailyrecord.co.ukA gang of women wept in court as footage of their attack on a young victim was shown to a judge. Nadia Gubran and Alya Dahshan, both 21, kidnapped a nursery nurse whom they believed had been exchanging Snapchat messages with a man Gubran was interested in.
A court heard how Gubran devised the plot to kidnap the childcare worker alongside Dahshan.They recruited Layla Obad, 20, to carry out the ambush as the victim strolled through Sefton Park, Merseyside, on March 21 last year.
They snatched the 23-year-old woman, drove her to a secluded area and attacked her.Footage of the violence was played at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday.
In it, the victim could be seen on the ground in a wooded area, holding up her hands as she was repeatedly punched and kicked.As reported in the Liverpool Echo, one of the attackers could be heard shouting at her: "Yeah, yeah, yeah, f*** off.
