A man has been hospitalised with a serious head injury after being brutally attacked by a gang of thugs in Glasgow city centre.
Around 1.20am on Sunday, 6 February the 26-year-old was violently assaulted by a group of around 10 men after they approached him while he was walking along Sauchiehall Street, heading towards Buchanan Street.
The man was punched in the face - and the blow caused him to fall and strike his head on the ground.The group of men then ran off onto Rose Street.The victim suffered a serious head injury and was taken to hospital as a result.The suspects are described as white and in their teens or early 20s.
One suspect was described as wearing a black hooded top with a white motif on the chest, dark trousers and red trainers with white soles.Cops are urging anyone who may have information on the incident to come forward.Detective Constable Matthew McCann said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of this attack to contact us.
