Some of the biggest stars from Game of Thrones have decided not to dive into the hit show’s spinoff series House of the Dragon.

Set decades before the original show, the prequel series focuses on a bloody battle for the Iron Throne between the Greens and the Blacks.

The second season of the Max show premiered this year. It is expected to conclude with a forthcoming fourth season. While House of the Dragon has become a certified hit, it turns out that some Game of Thrones stars haven’t been ready to revisit the Seven Kingdoms just yet.

Since 2022, seven former cast members revealed that they aren’t following along with HotD and explained their reasoning. On the flip side, three stars said that they are watching.
