Actor Darren Kent has passed away at the age of 36. Darren, who appeared as Goatherd from Slavers Bay in the HBO hit series Game of Thrones, passed last week following a lengthy health battle.

During his life, Darren battled and overcame osteoporosis, arthritis and an extremely rare skin disorder. No cause of death has yet been announced.

His passing was announced by his agency, Carey Dodd Associates, who shared the sad news on Twitter, writing: "It is with deep sadness we have to tell you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday.

His parents and best friend by his side. "Our thoughts and love are with his family in this difficult time. RIP my friend [heart emoji]." Tributes have begun pouring in after the news of his passing spread on social media, with fellow actor Lee Mead writing: "Darren was an amazing human being and so special.
