The clip debuted during tonight’s 2020 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which teased several upcoming features. In the upcoming movie, Wonder Woman finds herself facing off against two new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah, which is played by Kristen Wiig.
The movie also sees the return of Chris Pine‘s Steve Trevor, who supposedly perished in the final moments of the first movie by flying with a bomb on board his plane. “I can’t tell you [how he’s back], but here’s what I will say: We didn’t put Steve Trevor in this movie because we just wanted to put Steve Trevor in this movie,” director Patty Jenkins revealed of his return.
