A furloughed bar worker said his legs "went jelly" when he realised his £2 scratchcard had won him and his student nurse wife £100,000 on the National Lottery.
Jonathan Wright, 40, had popped to the local corner shop to get some fresh air during lockdown and felt a "random urge" to buy the lucky ticket.
So he used his remaining £2 spare change to purchase a Win All Scratchcard. When he realised he had scooped the top prize, he couldn't wait to get home to tell his wife Heather, 40, and called her on the way. "No you haven't, go away", she replied.
Dad-of-two Jonathan then ran "like a schoolboy" to get home to his wife. The couple now plan to celebrate with a holiday abroad once restrictions allow and will buy new carpets for their house in
