Lesley Horner arrived early for her flight to Palma, Majorca where she would then travel on to Cala D'or, arriving in time for lunch.
However, she was left stunned after finding out her flight had been delayed by 13 hours - and wouldn't arrive on the Spanish island until after 9pm, the Liverpool Echo reports.
After spending five hours in the airport lounge, Lesley decided she couldn't wait any longer and was forced to ditch her holiday altogether.
