Gemma Arterton, 38, is back for a highly-anticipated second series of Funny Woman. Her character Sophie Straw’s love for Dennis, who is married and having problems with his divorce, showcases into the new series, although her love life in real life is much more settled.The star is married to famous actor, Rory Keenan, 44, who fans may recognise from hit show, Peaky Blinders.
In 2014, the star played Donal Henry in the hit BBC Two show, which became a phenomenon on Netflix. However, Rory’s character didn’t last long, as he was unfortunately assassinated.
Other notable appearances from the actor include War & Peace, and Versailles. The pair tied the knot in 2019, four years after she divorced her first husband, Stefano Catelli.
Gemma and Rory first sparked romance rumours in 2017, when they were spotted kissing while waiting for a gig to start. Previously speaking to Red Magazine, the Funny Woman actress said the couple were in ‘no rush’ to have kids, and she enjoyed being with someone that made her “feel good”.
