in Walkden on Tuesday (January 5). The 16-year-old was approached by two men who punched him in the face and threatened him with a kitchen knife.
The men, described as being around 18 and wearing grey and black hoodies, demanded he hand over his cash. Harry was carrying £350 at the time of the attack.
It had been his birthday and Christmas money.The incident left him in tears. A fundraiser was set up in light of the mugging to help replace the stolen money.
So far, it has raised £592. Harry’s mum Lisa, who feared her son could have been killed in the attack, said “I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the kindness we’ve been shown. “There are some lovely people out there amongst the bad.” Harry described the attackers as being around.
