This is everything fans could have wished for after, only last year, it seemed like the film might end up being delayed. The film’s producer Gareth Neame told ET at the time: ‘We are totally committed to making a sequel if we can bring all the elements back.’ Now it seems it’s all systems go and the team has just announced the official release date and a slew of new names joining the Downton Abbey family.
