It’s one of the most highly anticipated reunions of 2020... and next month Friends will start filming their TV comeback. But I can reveal that the show’s live audience will be ditched as Matt Le-Blanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer have to follow strict rules.

The rigid protocol is likely to be music to Jennifer’s ears as she is a self-confessed clean freak. The show is set to be a mix of interviews and sketches.

A source tells me: “Everyone is really hoping production and filming can resume next month. "It’s full steam ahead right now, but there are going to be very strict guidelines and that includes no live audiences. “That’s a big blow because bosses were desperate to create an authentic atmosphere,”
