A frail Scots pensioner suffered horrific injuries after he was attacked and robbed in his own flat. James Clunes, 75, of Aberdeen, arrived home from a night at the bingo on Saturday, June 25 when two men allegedly forced their way into his flat.

The pensioner was left with a broken nose, a fractured cheekbone and a stab wound to the leg before being rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
