French Bulldog abandoned with horrific burns finds forever home

A dog found shivering in a bush with horrific burns across his back, has found his forever home. French Bulldog Bruce was discovered on February 18, after being abandoned.

The eight-year-old was rushed to RSPCA's Preston branch and he was then taken to the vets for emergency treatment on the burns.

It is believed the injuries occurred two to three weeks earlier and Bruce would have been in significant pain the entire time they were left untreated.

After spending three months in the RSPCA's care, Bruce was fostered by Jack Brennan and wife Angharad, both 27, of Leyland, Lancashire.
