Town hall bosses in Trafford have announced a host of locations and organisations where vulnerable families can seek help over the Christmas period.

The council says it is supporting residents with advice, information, social activities and a safe place to go in times of need.

Free food and warm drinks as well as opportunities to chat and connect with others are being offered. On Mondays, all ages are welcome and lunch is provided at Urmston Hub Social at Age UK Trafford on Church Road from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

On Tuesdays, the Stretford Advice Hub runs at Stretford Public Hall, from 9.30am to 3.30pm, where there are warm drinks, biscuits and soup at lunch time in addition to information and advice from a number of different services.
