Freddie Flintoff has shown his healing injuries after being involved in a horror crash that nearly killed him.The accident happened while filming Top Gear at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome back in December 2022, with the famous sports star, 46, still with visible injuries over a year later.

As a result of the crash, which saw an open-top three-wheel Morgan Super 3 car flip over, Freddie suffered severe facial injuries and took a step back from the spotlight as he recovered. The England cricket coach has gradually returned to work and on Monday, 20 May attended a nets session at Headingley, Leeds ahead of the first T20 International this week.

Freddie was pictured at the training session where his facial injuries appeared to be improving, 18 months on from the terrifying crash.

He boasted black sportswear and wore a pair of sunglasses in the Spring heat, with his face scarring still visible, particularly around his mouth and nose. The new snaps appear to show an improvement in his injuries in comparison to September last year when his scars were significantly worse.
