Greater Manchester has been lashed by a thunderstorm this afternoon — but experts are predicting it’ll be hotter than Monaco here tomorrow.
A yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office for this afternoon evening for much of the North, with meteorologists concerned there would be disruption to roads, rail, and electricity networks.
The Met Office also warned flooding was a possibility, with the warning in place from 1pm to 10pm on Monday (May 16). And some people were caught out in Oldham by the wet weather.
