Frankie Dettori aims to continue racing at the top level for at least two years after joking he needs to do so to keep his marriage going.
The Italian who won a career-best 19 Group One races last year celebrates his 50th birthday in December. He is among the most famous faces in his sport and will soon be back in the saddle after a 76-day coronavirus-enforced break was ended.
And having spent over two months in lockdown Dettori is now desperate to get back to the track. "I've had a taste of retirement and I'll tell you what - I don't like it," he told Sky Sports Racing. "The pair of us [Dettori and his wife Catherine Dettori] don't like it.
