Frank Murray and Frida Torresblanco have boarded The Night Manager Season 2 as producers via their nascent Hangtime International Pictures, with plans ramping up for the next instalment of the John le Carré adaptation.
Deadline revealed the launch of Hangtime in the run up to Cannes and The Night Manager is its first project. Pan’s Labyrinth and First Reformed vets Murray and Torresblanco will join the production team as co-execs.
Murray was brought on board the series by The Ink Factory co-founder and co-CEO Simon Cornwell and EP Stephen Garrett, Hangtime said.
Backed by an eight-figure investment out of New York, Hangtime is focusing on developing and producing U.S. and regional content with global appeal.
