Frank Bielec, one of the longtime stars of the TLC home makeover series Trading Spaces, has sadly passed away at the age of 72.
TMZ reports that Frank died on Friday (May 15) after suffering a heart attack. He was transported to a hospital in Texas, but they weren’t able to save his life. Frank‘s wife Judy told TMZ that “the surgical team dissolved into tears when they couldn’t save Frank.” There will be no funeral service for Frank, who will be cremated.
His ashes will be “put inside a round wooden box and placed on top of a fireplace in their home.” Frank appeared on every season of Trading Spaces as a designer and he also was on the 2018 reboot.
