The Health Secretary has announced that no further coronavirus restrictions will be enforced in England in the run-up to the new year.
It comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson was briefed on the impact Christmas mixing has had on coronavirus infections and hospital admissions.
While the rules in England for the new year are different to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, there are still some things you need to do if you're planning on going out to celebrate new year's eve.
