Four arrested after police raids uncover £1.6m cannabis haul in Scots towns

Police have arrested four men after drugs raids across Scotland uncovered a £1.6m cannabis operation in Stirling and the Black Isle.

Officers stopped a vehicle in Mount High, Balblair, near the Black Isle and recovered cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £600,000, around 9am on Tuesday, January 28.

Two men, aged 29 and 33, have been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. They were due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Wednesday, January 29.

Later on Tuesday, around 4pm, officers entered a property on Forth Street, Stirling and recovered approximately 1,400 cannabis plants worth an estimated street value of £1M.
