darts champion Andy Fordham has died aged 59, it has been confirmed. Known as ‘The Viking,’ he beat Mervyn King in the final of the 2004 BDO World Darts Championship.
Prior to that, Fordham claimed the title at the Winmau World Masters in 1999 against Phil Jones, according to the Mirror. The legendary darts figure previously had to retire mid-game against Phil Taylor due to health issues.
