Former Wales rugby star Matthew J Watkins has died at the age of 41. The international rugby union player had been battling a long illness after being diagnosed with a rare form of pelvic cancer seven years ago.
He leaves his wife Stacey and his sons Siôr and Tal. A statement from Dragons, one of Matthew's former teams, said: "Everyone at Dragons Rugby is deeply saddened at the passing of our former player Matthew J Watkins at the age of 41.
