Former Tottenham striker Reo Griffiths is set to be loaned back to England after an impressive start to his senior career at Lyon.

Griffiths, 20, scored over 60 goals in two seasons in the Spurs youth team but followed a familiar path for English football’s best youngsters by going abroad to continue his development with Lyon.

The England Youth international has impressed in Lyon’s second team and they are now ready to let him move back to England this season to help him get ready for their first team.

His availability has alerted the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton and Preston who have been chasing the prolific young striker.
