Former Texas band member says he was regularly fat-shamed while with group

Former keyboardist of the Scottish rock band Texas, Michael Bannister, has spoken out about being fat shamed by his bandmates.

In an interview with the Daily Record, Michael, 43, said that he “routinely” fat shamed during his time in the band with him “threatened” that if he didn’t lose weight, he would be dropped. “Everyone thinks it’s rock ‘n’ roll and glamorous, it’s not.
