Arlene Phillips has defended Strictly Come Dancing finalist Layton Williams who has faced backlash for being on the popular BBC show.
This Saturday will see Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin dance-off in hopes of lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy.
Layton has faced criticism from viewers throughout his time on the series as many believe he is already a professional dancer.
The actor started his career in the West End at just 12 years old after landing the title role in Billy Elliot The Musical. The Bad Education star has since performed in a number of productions including Rent and Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
