An ex-pro footballer has scooped a £1million prize on the lottery after being forced to retire due to injury. Terry Kennedy has since gone viral for his reaction to the bumper win, after finding out he had won the jackpot while on his break at work.

Builder and former championship player Terry even had to be called back to the shop after leaving his ticket on the counter as the shopkeeper said: “This could make you a millionaire.” The moment the 28-year-old was told of his big win has now been seen by over three million people after his mate filmed him on a building site, the Mirror reports.
