A man has been found guilty of raping a woman who was “so drunk she could barely walk” after a night out. However, Valentine Livingston was cleared at court this week of raping a second woman after a jury found him not guilty.
The 35-year-old denied both counts of rape, claiming to have had consensual sex with both of his victims. Livingston’s victim had been drinking vodka at a nightclub before heading to a late night takeaway with him and two other friends.
All four went back to his flat for an after-party but CCTV from the pizza shop revealed Livingston’s victim, who was significantly younger than him, fell to the ground in the takeaway because she was so drunk.
