Former Celtic goalkeeper leaves Motherwell without playing a first team game

Motherwell have announced the departure of Scott Fox - with the goalkeeper having never featuring for the first team.The 35-year-old has been with the club for 18 months but has been kept out of the side by captain Liam Kelly..

He also faced competition ex-former Aston Villa shot-stopper Aston Oxborough.Former Celtic man Fox - who was temporarily the Fir Park goalkeeping coach at the start of the season when Andy Dibble departed - has been released from his contract so he can pursue pastures new once the January transfer window opens in just over a week.
