Thierry Ambrose has confirmed his permanent exit from Manchester City, with his contract set to expire at the end of the current season.
Striker Ambrose, 23, spent the season on loan at FC Metz in France, making 19 appearances for the Ligue 1 club. Metz secured their top flight safety after the decision was taken to end the season due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the club 15th in the table.
Metz had an option to buy Ambrose at the end of his deal, and the striker himself had confirmed he would look to leave City at the end of the season rather than go out on another loan move.
