James Trafford moved on loan from Manchester City to Bolton Wanderers during the January transfer window. The 19-year-old has joined Wanderers on loan from City, where he is highly thought of and seen as fourth choice in the goalkeeping department, for the second half of the League One season.
He had previously been on loan at Accrington Stanley but had found game time hard to come by of late. He followed this up with another clean sheet on the road the next weekend against Shrewsbury Town where Wanderers picked up another three points courtesy of a 1-0 win.
Over the weekend, Trafford kept his third clean sheet in a row in the 6-0 drubbing of Sunderland, which proved to be Lee Johnson's final game in charge of the Black Cats.
