Footage of 'UFOs' flying above homes in Edinburgh leaves residents gobsmacked

Edinburgh residents have captured what they say are two unidentified flying lights over their home - sparking rumours they could be UFOs.

A Meadowbank couple say they captured the footage of the two mysterious lights moving around the sky from their window at around 2.30 am.

In the footage, a faint light can be seen next to the moon before it is joined by another.The pair, who wished to remain anonymous, claim that the objects can't be planes due to the time in which they were spotted and that their house is not on a flight path.

On capturing the video, a source told Edinburgh Live : “There is definitely something out there. It is becoming more obvious nowadays. “It was not on any flight path and at that time in the morning - it had me absolutely baffled.“We are really curious as to what it is.
