Foo Fighters kicked off their UK tour in Manchester on Thursday night - with a three hour epic spanning hits from across their 30 years in rock.
Dave Grohl blasted the band into action with Monkey Wrench at a windswept Emirates Old Trafford. What then followed was a rock 'n' roll masterclass as the band played out hit after hit to a bouncing Manchester crowd. The setlist included fan favourites like The Pretender, All My Life, Best of You and My Hero to a huge response in Manchester.
There was also a live debut of previously unheard track Unconditional towards the end of the first Manchester show. Aurora was dedicated to the band's late, great drummer Taylor Hawkins.
